The Wine Valley Inn in Solvang has immediate openings for Room Cleaners. During COVID times we have enhanced our training and cleaning requirements for this position. We provide you the proper training and equipment needed for you to remain safe and COVID free. Every team member needs to be dedicated to delivering superior level of clean/sanitized rooms. Whenever possible we allow rooms to air out before cleaning, limit the number of team members in a guest room, contactless delivery of guest requested items, not cleaning stayover rooms unless requested, staggering start times, and other safety protocols.
Room Cleaner - must be able to work weekends and holidays starting between 9am - 9:
30am. Must be able to push up to 100 pounds, bend, stoop and reach above shoulders. Clean guest rooms according to company standards.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1). Physical ability to perform essential functions of job.
2). To be able to physically lift and carry up to 25 lbs. frequently.
3). To be able to physically push up to over 100 lbs. (housekeepers&s; cart) frequently.
4). Ability to communicate to supervisor and hotel guests.
5). Ability to follow instructions.
6). Ability to be cooperative with co-workers and supervisor.
7). Ability to see, grasp (fine finger manipulation), and reach above shoulders.
8). Must be able to climb stairs, bend, stoop, crawl frequently during shift.
